Using Healing Magic increases Healing Magic XP. The more often you use a skill, the stronger and more effective Rudeus becomes with it.
Improving Rudeus's skills directly increases his combat power. Training raises his maximum HP, increases sword damage, and strengthens his elemental spells. To complete the current story chapter, you must develop all six skills, battle enemies, and finish the quests assigned by Rudeus's mentors.
