Media Optimization: AVIF Conversion at Scale

During a planned break, my workstation ran continuous transcoding to convert approximately 350,000 images to the AVIF format. This improves loading speed and reduces storage and bandwidth pressure while preserving strong visual quality. Video assets were also re-encoded to standardize output quality and improve playback consistency.

Growth Snapshot

Daily usage continues to rise. What started as a small project has grown to roughly 400–500 daily users, with increasing repeat visits and deeper browsing sessions.

Delivery Upgrade for Faster Loading Worldwide

To improve responsiveness across regions, I upgraded the delivery stack so media can be served more efficiently at higher scale. This helps reduce latency, improves cache behavior, and stabilizes performance during traffic spikes.
