A major Hentai Studio update is now available
Hentai Studio has received a substantial update focused on privacy, character discovery, games and performance. Users can now see characters they have previously viewed, access favorite characters more easily, play a new MMORPG storyline and benefit from lighter, faster pages across the platform.
A major part of this release is also a clearer approach to locally stored activity. Chat history, viewed-character history and other local interaction data described in this update are kept on the device where they were created rather than being synchronized as part of the user profile.
Your previously viewed characters now have their own page
Hentai Studio now includes a page containing the characters you have previously viewed on that device. This makes it much easier to return to a character discovered days or weeks earlier without having to remember the name or search for the same profile again.
The history is local to the browser and device being used. Clearing the relevant Hentai Studio browser data removes the locally stored history.
This also means that viewed-character history is not automatically transferred between devices. A history created on a phone will not simply appear on a computer, and the same applies when moving to another browser or device.
Chat history and local activity remain device-specific
The same local-first approach applies to the interaction history covered by this update. Messages, chat history and viewed-character information are stored locally rather than being synchronized as permanent account history.
The user profile is separate from this local data. Account-related profile information can remain associated with the profile, while the locally maintained interaction history stays tied to the device where it was created.
This design has an important trade-off: there is no automatic cross-device synchronization for local chat history. Losing or clearing the browser data can also remove that local history. The benefit is that Hentai Studio does not need to maintain a centralized archive of every user's conversation history and browsing activity simply to provide these features.
This description applies to the persistent history features covered by this release. Messages still need to be processed as necessary to provide AI responses and operate the service; local history should therefore not be interpreted as a claim that network processing never occurs.
Favorite characters are now available from My Chats
The My Chats area has also been improved. Favorite characters are now included there, bringing frequently used characters closer to existing conversations and making it easier to return to the characters users interact with most often.
Together with the new viewed-character history, this creates several different ways to rediscover a character: existing chats, favorites and recently or previously viewed profiles.
A second MMORPG experience with a completely new story
This update also adds a new MMORPG-style browser game. It is based on the same general game concept already available on Hentai Studio, but introduces a completely different storyline.
The new game has its own experience progression, allowing players to advance through the new storyline independently instead of simply continuing the progression of the existing game.
At the profile level, however, progress from both games contributes to the combined overall total. This keeps each game's progression distinct while still allowing overall activity to be reflected in the main profile.
Smaller pages and faster browsing
Performance work has continued across the project. Page weight has been reduced and general site responsiveness has been improved, with the goal of making navigation, character browsing and longer sessions faster and more comfortable.
These changes are part of continuing work on the technical foundation of Hentai Studio. Performance is particularly important for a platform containing large character collections, media-heavy pages, AI chat functionality and interactive browser features.
Reducing unnecessary page weight also gives future features more room to grow without allowing the basic browsing experience to become unnecessarily heavy.
How new characters are added to Hentai Studio
There is also an important clarification about character requests. Characters are submitted by Hentai Studio users through the dedicated submission form. The platform does not manually choose and add every requested character in response to individual feedback messages.
If a character is missing, the character submission system is the intended way for the community to contribute new additions.

- Favorite characters added to the My Chats area.
- A new MMORPG-style game with a completely new storyline.

More work is planned
Hentai Studio has been under active development for more than a year, and this release is not the end of that work. Future development is expected to continue focusing on design, speed, performance, usability and new features.
The project has significant operating costs, particularly around AI processing, and its financial return remains limited. Development nevertheless continues with a long-term focus on building a technically strong, fast and convenient platform for anime character interaction, discovery and games.
Traffic can vary substantially over time, especially for a project that receives a meaningful part of its discovery through search engines. Because of that, the technical direction is focused less on short-term traffic changes and more on improving the underlying product itself.
Thank you to everyone who continues to use Hentai Studio. There is still a great deal to improve, but this update moves the platform closer to its long-term goal: a faster, more capable and more comfortable experience built around anime characters, AI interaction and character-focused features.
